JANET "NETTI" LEVI (YARDLEY)--Died, in this city (Beaver), on January 14, 1888.
Nettie Yardley, wife of William Yardley, and daughter of David and Ann Levi.
Deceased was born at North Ogden, Weber County, March 19, 1862.
Sister Yardley was well and favorably known for her many good qualities,
was an active member of the Y.L.M.L.A. of Beaver City, and for some time was
associated with the presidency of that organization.
During her lifetime she had won many warm friends as was attested at the
funeral services which were held in the Beaver meeting house on Monday,
January 16th. The house was full to its utmost capacity with friends and
Consolatory remarks were offered by Elders James Low, W. J. Cox, Bishop J. Smith,
Counselor Wm Robinson and Pres. J. R. Murdock. The body was followed to the
cemetery by a vast cortege. It can be truthfully said that she had lived and

Janet married William Edward Yardley on April 1, 1885 in Beaver City, Beaver
County, Utah. The had 2 children, Ray Yardley and Janet Levi Yardley.
After Janet's passing, William married Jane Elizabeth Gower on November 12, 1889
in St. George, Washington County, Utah. They had 4 children, all girls, Inez Yardley,
Mary Violet Yardley, Gladys Yardley and Grace Yardley.
Janet was the 2nd child of David Levi and Ann Gillispie her brothers and sisters were
Julia Ann Levi (1859 - 1933), Jane Levi (1870 - 1877), Mary Levi (1874 - 1877), Katie Bell
Levi (1878 - 1963), and
William David Levi (1881 - 1919). Her father David had 2 wives, his second wife was
Christine Gillies. David and Christine had 7 children, James Levi (1872 - 1899),
Robert Levi (1874 - 1878), Frederick R. Levi (1876 - 1961), Karl David (1878 - 1954),
Marshal Levi (1881 - 1954), Orson Levi (1883 - 1954) and Clarence Levi (1885 - 1885).
