Frederick R. Levi was born on October 11, 1876 in Beaver City,
Beaver County, Utah. He married Henrietta "Nettie" Murdock on November 3, 1898 in Beaver City,
Beaver County, Utah. Henrietta went by the name of "Nettie" and
was born about 1880, the daughter of Joseph R. Murdock and Clara
Farnsworth. Nettie died in 1899 in Alberta Canada.
Frederick and Henrietta had one child,
Monto C. Levi who was born before 1899 in Alberta, Canada.
Frederick next married Lena Sorenson on
July 19, 1904 in Elsinore, Sevier County, Utah. Lena was born on
August 3, 1870 in Elsinore, the daughter of Soren Sorenson and
Ann Marie Jensen. Lena died on March 13, 1956 in the 13th Ward
in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.
Frederick and Lena had three children,
Olive Louise, born on June 6, 1906; Mary Phillis, born on July
25, 1909 in Elsinore, Sevier County, Utah; and Dorothy C., born
on December 19, 1911 in Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada. Olive Louise
died about 1980.

1961), Oregon Funeral Services to Honor Former Utahn. Special to
the Tribune, Nyssa, Oregon -- Funeral services for Fred R. Levie,
84, former Utah banker, rancher and businessman, will be
conducted Monday at 2:00 p. m. in the Nyssa Funeral home.
Mr. Levi died Saturday at 11:30 in a Nyssa
hospital of cancer. His residence was 1311 East 3920 South, Salt
Lake City, but he had spent most of his time prior to his death
managing his livestock feed business in Nyssa.
From 1907 to 1916, Mr. Levi operated
mercantile stores in Kimberly and in Richfield, Utah; Pioche,
Nevada; and Death Valley, California. He moved to Milford, Utah
in 1916, where he operated an automobile sales agency. From 1920
to 1932, he was cashier of th Milford State Bank.
In 1932, he become active in sheep and
cattle ranching and had ranches in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and
Oregon. He sold his ranching interests in 1949, to devote full
time to his livestock feed business in Nyssa.
Born on October 11, 1876 in Beaver, Mr.
Levi was a son of David and Christina Gillis Levi. He married
Henrietta Murdock in 1898 in Beaver. She died in 1899. He
married Lean Sorensen on July 19, 1903, in Richfield, Utah. She
died on March 13, 1956. He was a member of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
His survivors include a son, Monto Levi,
Parma, Idaho; three daughters, Mrs. Louise L. Campbell, Mrs.
Harold M. (Phyllis) Goates, and Mrs. Arnold (Dorthy) Shields,
Salt Lake City; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and
a sister Mrs. Niels (Kate) Jensen, Beaver, Utah.
Graveside Services will be conducted
Tuesday at noon at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call
Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 at 260 East South Temple. The family
suggests contributions be made to the University of Utah Medical
School's cancer research program.
