Cassidy, Warner and the McCarty Brothers robbed the San Miguel Bank in Telluride, Colorado


Bought a ranch in Dubois, Wyoming


Became romantically involved with Old West rancher and outlaw, Ann Bassett


Was arrested in Lander, Wyoming and served 18 months of a two year sentence


Joined with Elzy Lay, Harvey "Kid Curry" Logan, Ben Kilpatrick, Harry Tracy, Will "News" Carver, Laura Bullion, and George Curry to form the gang called The Wild Bunch.

August 13, 1896

Gang robbed the bank in Montpelier, Idaho


Recruited Harry Longabaugh, alias "The Sundance Kid", into the Wild Bunch

April 21, 1897

Robbed the payroll for the Pleasant Valley Coal Company from the men transporting it

June 2, 1899

Gang robbed a Union Pacific train near Wilcox, Wyoming

August 29, 1900

Gang robbed a train near Tipton, Wyoming

September 19, 1900

Cassidy, Longabaugh and Bill Carver robbed the First National Bank of Winnemucca, Nevada


Cassidy, Longabaugh, and Ethel "Etta" Place fled East to New York City.

February 20, 1901

Sailed to Buenos Aires, Argentina aboard the British Steamer, Herminius


Bought a 15,000 acre ranch on the east bank of the Rio Blanco near Cholila, Chubut

November 7, 1908

Supposedly killed near San Vicente, Southern Bolivia, South America


Traveled to Europe where he had plastic surgery before returning to the United States as William T. Phillips

Married Gertrude Livesay in Adrian, Lenawee County, Michigan using the name William T. Phillips


Visited father, Maximillian Parker and other siblings


Died under the assumed name of of William Thadeous Phillips in Spokane, Washington
